Bypassing 2124-3000?

Long story short, all online services in games I play refuse to connect and throw 2124-3000 ("please update your HorizonOS").
I've even entered maintenance mode which should've deleted any cached update images and clear nags for a while, but nope, still can't connect to the network.

I've been holding off on the update because of new DRM restrictions being applied, is there a way to connect to the network without flashing HorizonOS 20.1 or am I essentially stuck between a rock and a hard place?

Reinstall the 20.1 from darthsternie and it will not erase your data don’t worry and you update with daybreak which should be included in every atmosphere zip from github

Edit:You can use the switch aio updater to install 20.1 automatically super easy without doing anything
