To resume, my gamepad charger after all the stuff its been burned while I was playing and due to the place I live in I will probably take a while to get a new one. The thing is, I was pretty hooked up by some Wii games specially DKCR and I don't want to leave it waiting, I always wondered:
I've been using web exploits for a while and now Indexiine, but I noticed if you were to charge the exploit, if at the moment the screen goes charging the Gamepad is turned off the console will promt you to turn it on just like some games do like Game&Wario and Super Mario Maker.
w h y ? Anyways, it usually enters the Homebrew Launcher after that and I just wanna know if I can change anything on my SD card to possibly not require Gamepad to load CFW and the Homebrew Launcher in general.

afaik, there's a version of the homebrew launcher that doesn't require the gamepad. the other alternative is possibly cbhc. games will work normally, but you'll still need the gamepad for things that require it. you also might be able to use normal haxchi with default=sysmenu. you won't have to hold any buttons on the gamepad.

aight that's a problem, either way I'll probably have to wait for the new charger as setting anything you mentioned up needs the Gamepad right now, dang. However I just'd read https://gbatemp.net/threads/remove-gamepad-launch-requirements.490731/ and it seems that I would pretty much need FTP to do so.
The thing is I have opened the Homebrew Launcher before from my menu with the Gamepad turned off (obviusly that time I already loaded CFW) but it didn't asked me to turn on the gamepad, like, ever. So why is loading it through the Internet browser any different? That would mean it's not really related to the installed Launcher in menu but the app. That's what still makes me curious if it is any way to change that through the SD Card, I could be wrong in all of this tho lol but still.

you could have a problem. I'm not sure of any way of installing anything without having to use the gamepad at least once. you'll probably have to wait on a charger. btw, they make charging cables for the pc. I bought one for 3d world, since it's kinda hard to get over to the charging cradle in my room. that way I can just let it charge off the cable.

Hm, like a USB cable with a Gamepad charging socket? That's actually pretty cool, That would be ideal if it can be also used with a regular AC converter plugged to the wall. Is that the case?

you could probably use an ac to usb converter, but the cable itself is just usb at one end, gamepad plug in at the other. it might work in a charging cradle, but it's been so long since I've messed with my cradle, that I don't recall what kind of plug it uses.

Hi, uh yeah. English is not my first language so I didn't understand much this time lol, but I found this guy very close to where I live selling one usb cable for the Gamepad very cheap, so, my question is, what you're saying is that if I get one not only could I charge the Gamepad via USB connected to the Wii U itself, but I also could use it plugged directly without any danger or damage to the cable or gamepad with for example one of these(?:

I've never had mine damage the gamepad, and I've used it several times. it looks like the usb cable (grey I think), then an ac adapter attached to it. I've never used an ac adapter with mine. I just plug mine into a usb hub.
