Hacking buying DealExtreme R4

How long does it normally take for them to ship it? I ordered mine on 5/30 and its 6/4 now and it hasnt been shipped yet, its been at "Getting ready for shipment. The next update will be a shipment notice." for over 30 hours now.. cant take that long for the last step -.-

Actually, it can. Hong Kong Post, is pretty slow. It might be their fault.

It took about 2-3 days for my shipment to get out of Hong Kong.

Oh well, if it isnt shipped by tommorow ill have to ask, shipping takes long enough i dont want it stuck with them for a week

I recall Dealxtreme selling clones of R4's? I'm not quite sure if that is true though.

definitely not true. i've bought R4s from when they opened till last week, not a single one was fake.

also, just to mention it, they are pretty good with returns. handled mine pretty well.

it should not take more then 2 months, some people are lucky and get it within days others it takes up to a month or 2 to get, its just plain luck but hey free is free, my friend though hates dealxtreme she ordered a N-card from them it took over 3 weeks to get to her, and it was defective (it was cracked), she sent it back and did not get a replacement for 2 months (they were out of stock), although they paid for return shipping so that was a plus.

Got it shipped today after asking about it, 6 days before they even shipped something. bleh. atleast its out of there hands now so i can actually get it someday

I ordered one on the 31st, and on the 3rd they changed the status to the "ready for shipment soon" status. bah. I paid for the faster shipping, also.

Here's my experience :
Ordered 2x EZ Flash V Bundle + 2 x 1GB Kingston MicroSD + 2 x 9-in1 card reader for 124$.

For an extra 10$ I had the EMS shipping (included in the 124$ above).

May 24th -> Ordered
May 25th -> Received order number
May 26th -> I learn that EZV is back ordered

May 30th -> Package shipped
June 5th -> Package received!

So it's 4 business days for delivery

Plus I had a detailed tracking with EMS. It came in a padded envelope with no damage. Everything is working super fine.

Plus the Canadian $ is getting high so it's super great for us Canadians

I was the one that suggested the EZV bundle and the EZV bundle with 1GB Kingston card, they responded with the product in the inventory the next day !

12/10 for DealExtreme ! \o/

Well, didn't order an r4 (yet). But, ordered a Bluetooth USB on 5/21. Got shipped 5/27 and still haven't recieved it 6/7. Feels like forever >_>
I might buy a Chinese r4 for $25, and change the language.

Bluetooth Headsets are very cheap too. Even though they raised the prices recently.

Ordered my R4 + Japan MicroSD combo from DealExtreme on the 21st of May. I received it today, June 04th. Everything works great and seems genuine.

I will definitely use Deal Extreme again!

Mind if I ask a few questions?

1.) On what day was your order actually shipped?
2.) In what area of the US do you live?
3.) Did the package come via UPS or just your normal mail service?

I ask because I placed an order for an R4 on the same day as you, but I still haven't received it. I live in the midwest USA, and I did not opt for the EMS shipping. My current order information is:

Order placed on 5/21/2007
Order shipped on 5/24/2007
Order left Hong Kong for its destination on 5/29/2007

I'm getting impatient!

well i placed my order for a r4ds on the 5th and it was shipped on the 6th

probably because i paid for ems shippin that it shipped quicker.

whats wrong with people buying them and selling them on ebay or something, i was thinking of doing that myself as you can easily make a good profit if you buy in bulk taking the price of them on ebay now.

sadly i aint got enough money to buy more than 1 hehe

thats only 13 days they said 10-14, and maybe longer.

Ebay doesn't allow these flashcarts.

There is the occasional sale on eBay, but usually if you state in the description it can play rom files (which is what the majority of users purchase it for), they will remove it.

i also live in california takes about 10-30 days, i ordered a R4,leds' and a some accesories from dealextreme, the delya was mostly hong kong post, they keep the shipment for a week or so some times.
