Man i have bought many things i regret that at the time seems like a sound purchase like

1 Colors 3d this one should have been something i shouldn't have bought i have little to no artistic talent unless i count those art projects that i did halfassed but turned out to be better than the ones i did try on.

2 Terraria seemed fun but i never touched it after like the first week of buying it and that time when my main pc broke and had to use my laptop that couldn't even run flashgames or minecraft well but ran this well so hey.

3 Dino D-Day this ine i kindof have mixed feelings for it i had a blast while i was playing it but the community kind of died. havent played it now but since the pc gamer bundle included it why not check if people play.

4 Left 4 Dead now i got this from the bundle that included this and it sequel Left for Dead 2 but left for dead 2 has all the campaigns from the original so unless there are sine really awesome custom campaign that is only available in this one i don't see my self playing this.

5 Resident Evil Operation Raccoon City this one despite many people hating on it i actually liked it but it can't run on my pc but i got it and all of the dlc for $2.50 or so while it was on sale in steam

Assuming it did not set me back too much I reckon it would kind of cool to own a failed console like this.
As a kid when it came out, it likely would not feel cool at the time as that's a lot of money for a little one to spend on a flop.

Well, might as well join this.

Wii u - got it for $200 thinking I was gonna use it. Never touched it once. Super regretful

Mac mini (horrible investment) - horrible computer for the money. It's 699$ can buy a much better computer

Modern warfare 3 - oh lord. There was so much wrong with this game.. It was a disaster

IPad 2 - idk why I even bought this. I never use it.

Child of Light on PC *because of Uplay not the game* damn uplay updates everytime i go to start the game so i gave up playing it on PC and played it on 360

The Mass Effect games.

I'm curious as to why? 1 played like poop, but 2 and 3 were quite good.

As for me, I guess my most recent buyers remorse is my Wii U. Bought it for $150 about a month ago, played a total of 2 Wii U games in a couple weeks (Mario Kart and Wind Wanker) and that was it. The only other thing it's been used for is the various Wii games I haven't thoroughly played/can't emulate well enough. Future games don't look too bright for myself, either. Devil's Third and Smash bros are probably the only 2 games I'll bother playing, everything else doesn't appeal to me.

Well you shouldn't have bought it when you already knew you won't like it.

So much regerts, just sticking to 2014 though, so Animal Crossing and DKCR3D gets spared since its from last year.:

Yoshi's New Island
My 2nd Yoshino Nendoroid
My Sena butterfly hairclip, my ribbon one was way better.
A jacket Im too embarrassed to describe.
A pair of paja pants that turned out to be polyester NOT flannel.
A pair of work pants that turned out to have pockets too small.
Pokemon Gym badge pin set
Shovel Knight
Pretty much the last four 3DS games I should have waited until after July 1st and this Best Buy sale to buy & register. Nintendo really fucked me with this year's platinum reward, should have waited to apply the games to year 15 for a decent head start.
AData Dashdrive Air AE400
Nexus 5 (Gorilla Glass 3 my ass)
Custom made sailor moon cosplay for my cat (She destroyed it)
Moga Pro (Moga Pocket is so much better)
Every single Android App and Game I've bought this year that isn't The World Ends with You, including Final Fantasy VI, which happens to be my fave.

What is with all the Animal Crossing hate in this thread? That's a series that by now, you should know whether or not you like
That's the problem with Animal Crossing right there. By now, you know if you liked the previous games in the series, but then if you did, you grab the newest one hoping it will captivate you just as much. You then slowly realize that you're essentially playing the exact same game again with a handful of minor changes though, and at that point the buyer's remorse sets in. When you realize that you aren't as interested in playing yet another Animal Crossing title as you thought you would be, that's kind of the point where you realize you just spent $30 or $40 on something that you have no interest in making a daily experience as the game requests.

For me, I bought the game digitally, and there was remorse there in itself. I didn't want the game anymore, but I couldn't trade it in and now that I've sold my 3DS, I no longer have access to the game I bought courtesy of Nintendo's absolutely backwards and archaic account system that essentially made it that, by selling the 3DS without already possessing another, I could no longer have any rights to any digital content I had already purchased.

Animal Crossing ended up being kind of an overwhelmingly bad mistake for myself, and an understandable mistake for others.

Really? It's pretty good

Oh man I'd love to have something like that honestly
Its covered in flakey glitter. It kept sticking to my hair.

And I was an early backer of Shovel Knight and was surprised that I was offered NO benefit compared to the released game, like I don't know, maybe a week-early release? I could have and just should have kept my money until then. And another thing... Shovel Knight is $15?!?! They begged the public TO BANKROLL THEM, that means even if the game turned out to be a stinker, their "risk" in the game was either NOT there, or not as big if they funded the game themselves or had a publisher to foot the bill. This means that before the game even released, they had already broke even, or damn near close they did. They had to come little or none out of pocket at all, which begs the question, why the fuck was a title worth $7 priced at $15, when they didn't have to charge the extra money to compensate for the HEAVY development costs that any other developer team would have had to shell out?

And as a huge supporter of Nintendo, I absolutely loathe when a company puts out an unfinished game, and offers DLC later, be it free or paid. Shovel Knight came with none of it's stretch goals, and I already played, and beat, and played, and beat the game, so when that extra DLC does come out, I already "been there, done that" and won't even care because I already moved on. And don't take my negativity as an attack on you, I'm just like this.

No one in the history of ever, has had a positive "for the money" reservation when regarding any Mac. This isn't an attack on Mac or Mac computers, They're just not known for their good deals. Them and Bose.
