My dvd drive is taking a turn for the worse so i'm wondering if its possible to easily take a burned wii disc and get the base iso file for the sake of using it on the usb loaders? If so then it makes my work so much easier :D. I tried searching but couldn't find an answer.

Pop it in your PC and rip it with imgburn. You can rip burned games with PC software just fine, it's the real games that need special drives.

its better to use Wii Backup Manager just put the dvd in the pc and select the dvd tab and set your drives letter

if your Wii read DVDR, you can also use cleanRip to create the ISO. (it will make a Full 1:1 ISO)
Or use an USB Loader if you want to still play them in backup format, because ISO will always be 4GB size even if the game's data isn't that big. Using an USBLoader to dump the Disc will extract only the game data from the disc and will create a smaller file (called .wbfs file) which are compatible with USBLoaders too.
