My dumbass English teacher continues to treat the senior class as if we were 7th graders. She keeps forcing us to take part in these stupid "get to know your classmates" activities and other time-wasting projects. Now I have to do this shitty collage based on Canterbury Tales. I was given a character, and I have to put together a "modern representation" of it using magazine cutouts and stuff. What the hell? I stopped doing that stuff in middle school. I was hoping this year's English class would be more, you know, educational. Instead, we have to do these meaningless projects that take a shitload of time and don't contribute to our learning at all. Pisses me off.

I'm in the same situation with my English Professor. She treats us like we are children. The assignments she has given us are essentially busy work or stuff I have already done in a previous class. This class is a waste of time and money.

We had a student teacher do Canterbury Tales with us, and we had to do this retarded project where we drew one of the characters or something... sigh, that's what I took Honors to avoid. Regardless, Canterbury Tales is awesome. I bought a copy, doesn't have everything, but the most important parts. Haven't gotten around to reading it yet, still in the massive pile of things I need to read at some point.
