you have never played a bullet hell game before? they are usually space themed over-head shooters (think 1942, etc) where its near impossible to survive for 10 minutes because of the hellish onslaught of bullets coming your way! these games were really popular in japan, and i've only seen a few in a japanese arcade when i was out in L.A.

I have played Bullet Hell games. I just thought it was a Geometry Wars style game because of the screenshot. Should have read the description.
