Well, I've given thought to building my own computer, and I wanted thoughts on what might need improved, so here we are.

This is what I have picked out to build the PC with, but I don't know if I should change anything about to get better performance. I'm going to be doing quite a bit of PC gaming, and I am a multitasker, so I dunno

I would think that a 2.33 GHz quad, 4 GB of RAM, and a 512 MB video card should meet most requirements. I'm not running Crysis here, but I will be playing games like GHIII PC, and MAYBE GTAIV (which would probably run at medium settings).

you should probably try posting here next time.

I think it's a pretty legit set up. I love Acer monitors, your processor is legit, and you'll have plenty of ram.
Maybe just a stronger video card though? Like a GTX 280 or something

But thanks. And I just noticed that the drive I'm getting is discontinued. I bookmarked this stuff on a wishlist like 2 weeks ago and my grandma's helping me out with the money. The stuff got discontinued that fast. =P Maybe I'll get a good one with lightscribe.

belongs in the comp sections

anyway;

hard drive, screen (I have the same exact screen btw

the 4830 has the same exact performance as the 9800GT except it is the same price as the 9600GT

the PSU included with the case is junk, probably wont last more then 5 mins if it even turns on
either one of these would be fine

you might wanna find the same case except without the junk PSU, will save you about $10-$20

the ram is a bit of a gimmick, your just paying more because it has a nvidia sticker on it

or you can get some faster ram

now the mobo, asus has had the mobo quality drop is recent years
gigabyte with their UD3 series boards struck gold
I recommend a UD3R for your needs, its a lot better and cheaper then the ASUS board

the wireless is a bit pricey imo, you can probably get by fine with something like this for $15 cheaper
