If you installed menuhax in step 18, you just need to use menuhax to enter homebrew.
Once you install menuhax, you don't need browserhax anymore.

If you still want to use browserhax, try going here
Download the otherapp you need and rename it as
"browserhax_hblauncher_ropbin_payload.bin"
put it on the root of your sd card, initialize browser and try again

I edited the last post.
You only need browserhax once to install menuhax, once installed, you can use menuhax without the need of browserhax.
Depending on your configuration when you installed it, you will need to press the L button or maybe other button or even none of them...

I do remember that step.
I chose D-Pad Down button. So, when powering up, we pressed that chosen button, right?
it worked.

Now, when powering up and pressing D-Pad Down button, it brings me to the home screen.
My guess until now is it is because I am on a new FW.

In step 18, you install menuhax for 9.2 so unless you have uninstalled it by mistake... (changing the theme after installing it, for example)
You'll need to keep trying or spend some money to boot homebrew using other method

I have not installed menuhax in step 18 because it needs browserhax, am I missing something here?

If I missed something, How can I install menuhax at this point?

yeah, using card will make life easier.lol.
thanks for your help anyway.

What FW version did you have before downgrading?
If after the downgrade, browserhax did not work not even once, maybe there is something wrong with your downgrade.

it was 10.3. browserhax worked like charm in 10.3
now, it sucks in 9.2. :(

Either try to hold DPAD Down when booting or L, it's supposed to boot into menuhax. Are you 100% sure you have the starter kit on your sd card?

Inform yellows8 about it. A similar issue happened early March. It started after yellows8 made some changes to the browserhax server. When he was informed of the issue it was fixed right after.

I am doomed!!!

my little cousin upgraded the 3ds into OFW 10.7 without my knowledge.

doomed am I....

:((

Hi guys,

I am following this tutorial.
I am on Part-2 step-20 to be exact.

I did downgrade to 9.2 successfully.
But I cannot run Browserhax.
I can see the sliderhax, but it keeps kicking me out to home screen.

I have been spending like 4 hours reading, trying, repeating. But, still no luck.

can someone help?
I had exactly same issue after upgrade from 4.1 to 9.2

Only first time it kinda worked (but WiFi wasn't working in HBL and when I tried MenuHax Manager it gave error due to no net)

Next few tries on browser didn't work at all (as soon as you tap on right corner of slider it freeze for a second or so and then errors out in HOME menu)

Kept trying for two hours, because I was sure I didn't mess anything. I even tried clearing browser data several times and formatting system once.

After giving up, the only way I was able to run HBL was by using Ninjhax2 with CN cart. That worked on first try. From HBL I got net access and so I was able to set up MenuHax as well.

What is CN cart?

Cubic Ninja 3DS game. A very well known and expensive game now for different reasons that we know. You can try find in used items store or buy Sky3DS. There is also OOT (Legend of Zelda Ocarnia of Time) save game exploit but that also requires the game cart and exploited save game. Only one of these two options you got for your 10.7 sysNAND console. OR If you have made sysNAND backup initially before the update to 10.7 then you can restore that using hardmod.

Powersaves and OoT are a cheaper alternative. New copies are $20 for OoT and powersaves are $20 as well. You just have to find the correct save file for your cart or have another ds with access to homebrew (if you have the second option, powersaves arent needed)

Hello Guys,

I have just received my Sky3DS today. I will try to continue downgrading to 9.2 first on this weekend.

and one more thing...I got my L button's flex cable broken. Is this button required during downgrading and CFW installation?
