I was reading up on "yellows8's" GitHub project, https://github.com/yellows8/3ds_browserhax_common, and saw at the end something in the credits.

• megazig for helping with APT(for APT stuff once the Home Menu code in the loader starts running) during the initial + eventually successful Old3DS Home Menu takeover implementation.

I am entirely ignorant to what this means, but I do know that he has updated this multiple times today. If anyone can scout this out, that would be great.

ARM11 userland, not kernel. This is essentially another entrypoint to get the Homebrew Loader.
