I can't get passed the update nag. I've tried clock jan 1st 2000, time 00:00 and cleared browser, still no look. I've tried open DNS to no avail. The only way to halt nag screen longer was to use a programmer on PC as can't block websites through router but could through the programme but still ended with an error after a while ...

That's not what others say about browserhax working with 11.0, weird :(
What type of update nag have you? If it's the update nag with a black background screen, then you have a dummy browser, and you can't use browserhax.
Can you make a screenshot of your update nag, please?

The details floating around for open DNS don't work, using fiddler might not be perfectly set right but on full auto obtain DNS I can get browser to hang for ages before throwing an error. I've did set time and date, used simple theme, had WiFi off before launching QR code weblink. Nothing works for me atleast.

Is your update nag like this?

If I cantell get this to work then I'll have to take a trip to my bros and do the ocarina of time hack as he has that game just hoped is of figured this by now. Can't block any specific webs on router either. Can't do the hotspot stuff either as not rooted ;/

A format somehow helps?

edit: if i were you... just wait for the 33c3 (december, 27th), maybe soundhax (a free primary exploit) will be released!

Yeah I heard of that earlier, my bro has ocarina of time 3d but that's secondary so still pointless? ;(

Might not even be released anyway?
If you brother have a "homebrewed" 3ds, then he cans install the exploit on zelda oot for you.

Yeah, it will be released
)
. But... soundhax is like the last free primary exploit of the 3ds, so he takes his time before release it.

Its you dont have a dummy browser, and it ask you for an update, do this:
go to system settings, and change the date to

  1. Go to system settings and change the date and time to January 1, 2000, 00:00
  2. Go into the browser and IMMEDIATELY go into browser settings and "Initialize Save-Data"
  3. You are then free to use Browserhax normally until it wears off on January 2, 2000, 00:00
  4. [OPTIONAL/IF POSSIBLE] I highly recommend installing Menuhax/Themehax on your system so you don't have to change the date every single day and have an internet connection to use homebrew!!! (Just make sure to set your date back to normal afterwards!)

But that method is patched on 11.0, right?!
