Hacking Broken Ribbon Cable Match NDSL

Hi, I broke the small ribbon cable latch while replacing the touchscreen on my NDSL. Is there any other way I can secure the ribbon cable?

its fucked. the downfall of ribbon cables, they use less space. but cant be botch fixed. u need a new screen or a digitizer pad. depending on which ribbon cable you broke

I meant the latch whoops. lol. Theactual black latch that secures the ribbon cable.

well you could always buy a new connector and try solder it, but them things need alot of skill and a high grade soldering station. or you could just try fill out the space between the connector and what ever lyes on top of it with paper and hope the pressure holds. or try super glue it. id probs just sell the DS my self if i couldnt do the soldering
