Well look at Dolphin, it doesn't do any arm emulation at all.. It just implements the interface between IOS and the games.

Arm emulation for GC games on wii is overkill... And it's not needed as already demonstrated by crediar...

Very interesting. Do you really think it will be fast enough to emulate the GC's ARM processor? I think if you want to emulate another CPU, your CPU needs about 6 times the processing power of the other one.
There is no ARM on GC afaik. ARM is in wii Starlet chip. It is the place where all IOSes run.
For wii GC emulation MIOS is reloaded into ARM and PPC is switched to sandbox mode - downclock, memory limit, etc.
In this mode You cannot access all wii (ppc) memory or any specific wii hardware (for example usb ports).
So the question is what will happen when You try to run GC game without any sandboxing.
MIOS could be modified on ARM side, but emulating whole chip on PPC?

I was just kidding, i think i know in which direction the purpose of BroadOff goes. Hmm, full hardware access on ppc + downclock + boot gc .dol ... did somebody try that?

he's joking he's the other developer on it and the only one in this forum who knows what its really for
Ok, lets' change tactics.

So megazig, why are You developing p2p application designed to share child pornography?
I don't think that's good idea. We should inform police about another paedophile hub.

just want to see if all posts in here are being removed.

BroadOff has lofty goals on my part. I'd love if it could make it possible for the wii to emulate Starlet on the Broadway
