I think what @Brayton was talking was talking about was the forwarder channels that can be installed to skip going to the Homebrew channel every time to load an emulator or some other homebrew. That just loads the homebrew of off the SD/USB drive. So, technically XFlak is correct, with all regular Homebrew being on external storage (excluding the Homebrew Channel, but that is a special case)

Thank you all so much for helping me out! I'm probably gonna sell that Wii for parts and Letterbomb my black Wii (hopefully won't get bricked again!) I transferred as much saves as I could, thanks again though!

I know, I mean things like forwarder channels/ The HBC itself/any channels not on your Wii Shop Account (Such as pirated WiiWare)
You mean all things that were on external media before installing to the real nand in the first place? These are things you're concerned about "backing up"?

Use modmii this time and don't skip steps

I would also recommend Modmii. It is extremely easy to use, and does everything really quickly. The only issue is that some Antiviruses don't like it. I know that the application is safe, but something triggers the Antivirus.

I formatted my Wii, by the way. But, my Wii just stopped working after I stopped playing it for a while. I think it was because of my homebrew, but I'm not sure. I wasn't being careful. It crashes when loading flashHax.
