Gaming Brick or no brick?

So I was modding MKDS with a (original) R4 card on a DS Lite. I put the modded rom on the card and it goes to a white screen after booting the rom. After some time waiting, I turned off the DS Lite and turned it back on. Well, I tried to turn it back on. It would stay completely off. When I plug in the charger, the charging LED turns on, then turns off. Keep in mind that it was charged and working 5 minutes ago.

So, what is your verdict? BRICK OR NO BRICK?

Slow down there, since when is bumping a thread against the rules? As far as I know, it's looked down upon, but not that great of an offense.
