UI Redesign and Usability Improvements​


  • User Interface Overhaul: Redesigned layout for improved accessibility and intuitive navigation.

I really like this nifty tool!
The recent Tetris Forever game had me hooked and I wanted to play indefinitely the modern marathon of the "Tetris Time Warp" by Freezing the "lines and speed". Sio far my first try with the speed is a success. I was able to easily create a cheat to freeze the current speed!!

Making off cheat is now easier, do this before you activate cheat
Duplicate, edit cheat, get original, off is appended to the label for you

There is a help toggle key (default L+ZR, can be define in settings), the help toggle was default off and is now default on. If you install breeze97 preview before just moment ago you would have that toggle off (the old default)

You can turn off help in search manager menu with the help toggle key as of now. Most of the help texts are not controlled by help toggle. Let me know if you think more should.

The help tips are a great addition. These basically guided me to finalize my cheats.

remove large cheat file button in settings (button don't actually do anything), indicate pick from file supports large cheat file in help text (this is how large cheat file is supported since day one, it support large cheat file regardless of the setting).

Large cheat file is one that contains more cheats than Atmosphere cheat count limit allows.

This screen (not new, probably unchanged since day one) shows file has 544 cheats in it. There is still space for 117 cheats currently in atmosphere. I didn't and still don't plan to protect you from loading cheats not made for the running game when using this feature. User discretion advised.

could you add a setting to not turn on Jump to last menu automatically after opened Cheat menu? sometimes only want to use the wider cheat menu when the cheat name is very long, need to turn it off manually everytime after used

I must have done it on purpose, I suppose I can change to only do if you are on simple menu

Great to know. I was just considering Zing to make my searches in game so it's nice to know it can pretty much do the same things.
On that note, can I start searching in Zing and take over from Breeze?
Also, when you narrow a search to 1 candidate and change the data but in game it reverts back, what should you do?

You can't do search with Zing, you can edit memory and you can display bookmark on screen.

Down to one does not mean you have found the one you are looking for. If you hack and nothing happen then you have not found what you are looking for. On some occasions game don't update the screen so you won't know you have succeeded until the game update the screen.

There is one that will affect the game and frequently there will be many that match the number all the time. For some search you will never be down to one.

@TomSwitch hi Tom there is bug with long jump auto in code cave alternative is 0 it still does the long jump, which it doesn’t need it im manually in put the jump and the code is work without long jump, is there a way to turn on and off long jump option?
The game is Gundam 4 im upgrade the code

you mean double jump? check it by doing a manual edit to see if assembler will assemble the code for you, just edit asm and enter the final destination instead of the intermediate one

it is rare but it does happen that some of the time you can not reach the destination by a single b even when the destination is located in the main code space.

you can also manually calculate it, subtract the difference and compare it with 7FFFFFC

This is the logic :
if ((findfree(m_mainEnd) - m_mainBaseAddr - addr) > 0x7fffffc)

It will always look for free space, reuse cave start comes later. So if you are at the margin and re-assemble a few time it will go past it.

B Instruction Format​

The B instruction performs an unconditional branch to a target address, calculated relative to the current PC (Program Counter). Its encoding format is as follows:

31 30 29 28 27 26 | 25 24 23 22 21 20 19 ... 0​

Opcode (6 bits) | Immediate (26 bits)

  • Opcode: 000101 (6 bits)
  • Immediate: A 26-bit signed value representing the offset to the branch target in multiples of 4 bytes.

Steps to Compute the Encoding​

  1. Opcode: 000101 (binary value for the B instruction).
  2. Immediate field:
    • This is a signed 26-bit valuecalculated as:Immediate=Target Address−Current PC4\text{Immediate} = \frac{\text{Target Address} - \text{Current PC}}{4}Immediate=4Target Address−Current PC
      • Current PC: The address of the B instruction itself plus 4 (due to prefetching).
      • The offset is divided by 4 because instructions in AArch64 are 4 bytes (word-aligned).
    • Range: The immediate value must be in the range -2^{25} to 2^{25} - 1 (or -33,554,432 to 33,554,428 in bytes).
  3. Combine the Opcode and Immediate:
    The resulting 32-bit binary value is the full encoding.
