From what I read, Coro-Coro stepped up and made a statement. I wouldn't fret as we will find out Nov 22 if they got it right rather than Dec 3.

Also I think WFC may change due to EA Nation's system set-up. Madden 08 has lobbies, text-chat in lobby, and an ability to watch a person play in-game. This may show Nintendo or other 3rd parties the way to do it. Maybe it will, Maybe it won't. Most likely Nintendo is gonna say "we have this, If you don't like it screw you...."

Reggie basiclly said that when an interviewer asked him about the hassle of friend codes and he replied "Join a forum...."

Only third-party will save Wii Online cause Nintendo most likely isn't gonna do sh*t.

I really hope nintendo improve their online system because all games so far with Wifi have a pretty poor setup IMO

A lobby system with chat would be awesome. That's all they need to make it better.

...and getting rid of friend codes, so annoying

I think (if there's really Wifi without the FC's) there should be some kind of tournament, and you could win Wii-Points or something like that... Good idea?

I don't find friend codes annoying as such, it's just that Nintendo made it more troublesome than it should be, by making each game generate a friend code on their own.

If you could play anyone on your wii list, with the same friend code, and could import those people into a mario strikers, or pokemon listing, it'd be a lot easier.

Guess we're spoilt with xbox live though, as it is very cool being able to see what your friends are playing online, invite them to any game your playing, join a game they're playing, send messages or chat while playing different games etc.
