Hacking Bravely Default Save Question

I was playing last night and when I quit I did used the old gateway method of retaining your saves by opening another app on the console and then closing it (the "save hook" I believe). When I went to play it again today it said "Creating new game data" and my file was gone. I tried saving my game again, but no luck. whenever I go to play the game it always says "Creating new game data". My 3ds is 4.5ofw, emunand is 6.3, and my gateway is 2.1fw. If anyone could give me some insight as to why this is happening that would be greatly appreciated. Oh and all other games work fine. Thanks

I'm not entirely sure what is going there. Are you using a trimmed ROM by chance? Have you tried to delete the ROM and then rewrite it back the SD card?

I'm just throwing some ideas out there, but they are only suggestions.

No, not trimmed. Yeah, tried that too...hmm. I Appreciate the help.

Check the save file on the 3DS'S SD card, also check write protect isn't enabled on the big SD
