So, I updated to 8.0.0 using ChoiDujourNX, (and updated Atmosphere and Hekate), then had some problems so I wanted to revert to a backup I had just made yesterday. I tried to revert but realized I had already moved the backup to my computer. So I powered off, copied the backup back onto my (fat32) microSD, and...
Nothing. It doesn't turn on at all. It doesn't enter RCM (that I can tell) and it won't show any splash screens at all. When I plug it into the dock, the indicator light flashes for a split-second, and the power light on my HDMI switcher stays on (showing that it, at least, is receiving power from the Switch). If I plug it into my computer, it's like it doesn't even exist; TegraRCMGui doesn't see it, nor does Device Manager (Win10). I've tried every USB port on two separate computers, so it's clear that it's on the Switch's end.
I've tried leaving it to charge for over two hours (thinking the battery could be completely RCM drained) but it still doesn't turn on. I'm thinking this is RIP.
If anyone can help that'd be great, and if any more details are needed I can try to get those. A quick spec rundown:
Tegra-exploitable Switch
OFW 8.0.0 (updated with ChoiDujourNX)
Atmosphere 0.8.8
Hekate 4.9.1
128GB MicroSD formatted to FAT32
Original Dock and AC Adapter (the ones that came with the system)
Joy-Con Charging Grip cable used to connect Switch to PC
EDIT: My "problems" had turned out to be not severe so I hadn't mentioned it, but I probably should, to rule things out. It was basically the 2000-0000 Atmosphere boot crash that everyone else had been seeing (the one that gets fixed if you just delete some patches). I overreacted and wanted to go back to 7.0.1 to at least see it boot properly again. I had gone into Hekate once, then chose "power off" from the Hekate menu and removed the SD to put it into my computer (and get the backup from my computer)
