Bought another Wii today...

So i went to my local Gamestop today and bought a brand new Wii for 199.99...is it normal for it to be on system menu 3.4U?

=/ no i have 3 now 1 in the living room...1 in my bedroom and 1 in my daughters room...i just thought it was weird that a brand new system would have 3.4U on it

one is for my daughter...one is modded and the other isnt.

my bro bought a wii a while back (like a month or so ) and it was on 3.4 as well.. well 3.4E but sitll 3.4 non the less.. so i guess its normal? old stock or something

yeah. I think I heard something about the new ones come with 3.4 already on them. and you can bet that you won't be able to modify the boot2 on that one or downgrade without bricking.

Try to use the hackmii installer, it will tell you if you can put bootmii on boot2 or not. My guess is no.
