First off, if anyone happens to have a 'legacy version/qcma/cma' on this patch and could dump it(patch) with Mai, that'd be awesome.

My current situation is, I've got the game and the dlc's via mai, but stupidly updated to 1.08 before reading patch notes/player feedback where they f***** up Zero and removed the 4 player mode access via Hyperius/Master Gee. This makes playing rather pointless IMO.

The only way to get patch 1.07 as far as i can tell is from a Vitamin dump over on reddit. So I am currently dumping my cartridge with Vitamin as patches don't work across Vitamin<->MaiDump games, and you can't re-dump a game that's already been decrypted.

So main question(s) - Does anyone have experience patching a Vitamin game, then installing DLC with Mai and applying load modules for plugins+dlc? Is there a specific method for patching VPK games? I've searched and mainly looks to be just override the game install with the patch folder in VitaShell similar to doing pre-patching on the PC with Mai games. Also, should i apply DLC with Mai before patching the game, or after? The headaches....

Well this turned out to be a dead end as Mai won't change load modules on a vpk install, and putting vpk patch on a mai install breaks things <_>

Guess I'll have to try to find 4 player mode with gohanmem on *shudder*1.00 and hope i can apply that to patch 1.08/9 to fix half of what's been broken x.x

In a way. You clear Hyperius the Invincible on like normal mode to unlock Master Gee's quest/fight. Then you go to MG's area, run up against his entrance gate, get an area change notification on screen, and it sets the rest of your game session to 4 player mode/difficulty. What the devs did was set Master Gee to 4 player difficulty no matter if 1, 2, 3 or 4 people went to fight him. Touching his gate and getting area change activates that mode but since you dont enter -> kill -> exit, it lasts until you save quit. Practically the only way to get Vermivorous to spawn -.-

When VPK loading first started I'm almost 99% sure I had downloaded a Borderlands 2 VPK prepatched with 1.07. It's more than likely still out there, so there's probably no need to do any of that.

I may look into that later, sorta just rage quit my 1.00 play as i couldn't get anywhere with memory searches. The game has anywhere from 1300-1600 memory blocks to go through so I doubt I'll have any luck finding a 01-04 that's persistent, let alone time friendly. That and getting a working game with patch + dlc + plugins and dealing with it on my cheap & half broken slim analog sticks just doesn't seem all that fun. I swear they used cheap@$$ parts on at least the slim BL2 bundles. Defunct analog sticks looks to be a very common problem.

Well you can extract the vpk the folder being PCSBSXxxxxx(game name) transfer it to Mai and install normally, I did it with Rayman, vitman dump installed normally with Mai and works

I'm pretty sure i tried that and the game wouldn't install due to a lack of a mai moe folder being present. Anyway the whole thing ended up being one giant headache as i can have a patched game with no dlc or plugins, or a game with dlc & plugins but no patch which makes it so you can't access the dlc.

I have the 1.07 update. The method of install was... for vitamin if i recall. so transfer it over and use vita shell to install this patch to the game and you should be good to go
