So I've had my ten year Xbox 360 kick the bucket about a month ago. I've looked everywhere I can, and I've lost most hope I can of restoring it. The 360 in question about 700 hours of Borderlands time into it, about 400 hours of those being Borderlands 2. I won't rattle on about my setup anymore, but I'll get into my question.

I also own a Wii U and a Switch. I don't wanna risk bricking or getting banned from online play, so I'm turning to my Wii U, which my friend hacked to include some loaders (Homebrew, Loadiine, etc). I have seen both modpacks and injects (specifically Pikmin 2) work on my console. However, the idea of emulating games or even injecting them has me thinking. Could I possibly emulate or inject Borderlands 2 on my Wii U? I have very little experience in the hacking area (apart from modpacks), but I'm willing to learn if need be. I don't have very high hopes of this working either, but who knows. Maybe there's an ancient method I haven't heard of :^]

I'm holding out on buying it again for now. My wallet's drained from Christmas shopping, so I'm considering Steam the nuclear option. At least for now. But I'll keep that in mind :)

@SylverReZ, I dislike the kind of drm where you have to play single player games online all the time bc of some verification bs

@Xdqwerty, Don't use games that have Easy Anti-Cheat as its been exploited many times.

@SylverReZ, my PC can't run most AAA games so i wont

@SylverReZ, I also heard one of the Prince of Persia games was so unfinished that it required the "24/7 online" drm so a puzzle could be done and the game could be finished. And that when the Ubisoft servers were closed the (cracked) game was impossible to finish or something like that
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Xdqwerty, That's extra scummy. Ubisoft nowadays ship out incomplete games like Skull and Bones which was being worked on for nearly a decade now.

Either that or their old games were unfinished aswell but we can't notice it

I like that games can be fixed after the fact, hate that it's being abused via beta tests... And DLC... I was a 7800 owner back in the day and loved Impossible Mission, turns out I couldn't beat it because it was actually impossible lol
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
I never knew about it at the time but a fixed version was available but you had to mail in your broken copy lol
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
So that version is semi rare
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@Psionic Roshambo, I have a rom of the ds version of impossible mission
