It was announced just minutes ago at GamesCom.
Meh not impressed with these continued PORTS on my overpriced PS4 controller......
I'm happy I barely played it on 360 and one thing it shows is DAT POWA!
Brb gonna go buy a vita Nao
How exactly do first person shooters work on handhelds? I can't imagine even using my Playstation controller for Borderlands 2, but a handheld? That's even worse.
That's right, I remember playing a FPS on my PSP (I forgot the name) and the experience isn't that good.
Well to be fair, the vita does have two analogues which helps. Not to mention the fact this isn't the first FPS on vita.
I suppose the touch panel on the back could be used instead of L2/R2 triggers. I don't see how it couldn't work.
I have 700+ hrs played on BL2, so i won't be interested in this.
I can't see it selling that well on the Vita, as the gamers who wanted this would already have it on their consoles/PC.
From what I played of the Killzone beta, FPS games should work out without sacrificing too much.
PSVita has the exact same button layout and analog sticks. The only difference is the lack of L2/R2/L3/R3 which are replaced by the touchscreen/touchpad so it's actually relatively comfortable.
EDIT: Brain Derp.
He just said he couldn't.
But I said I can't imagine playing on a PS3 controller. Console FPSes turn me off when I think about playing them without a mouse.
Bunch of wieners. I have it on PC and have a ton of hours in it, but will still pick it up for the vita. Portable system > Desktops/Consoles.
Sorry, I've misread.
Well, in that case, no layout will really please you. I find it relatively comfortable myself, but nothing beats a mouse.
Yeah, I'm sure I would have still enjoyed Borderlands 2 if it were a console exclusive (or handheld, for that matter), but I've put a bunch of hours into BL2 already (though not 700+ like eyes) so this'll be a pass for me.
Eh, it's a game only fun in multiplayer on a portable platform (so not optimal for multiplayer). Meh...
If it has crossplay it might be worth a consideration but otherwise... maybe when it's cheap.
Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath (partly FPS) plays quite good on Vita, and hell, I'd love to play Borderlands 2 on it, sounds freaking awesome.
Too bad I have almost 200h played on Steam, and I don't own a Vita myself.
Also, I wonder how a game so focused on Multiplayer will work out on a mobile device.
While Borderlands 2 would be best played with other people, one could easily play 50+, or 100+ solo, depending on how many characters you play.
