Yup It is legit, Kate confirmed it. I am not happy about it though, it would happen eventually regardless, but the amount of devices effected by this is worrying.

just it existing is more dangerous than any exploit it all needs to be scrapped anyways

If you need to short a joycon pin
1) Take right joycon out of rail
2) unscrew
3) use a sharp knife to make pin 9 touch pin 10, somewhere in the middle between the two
4) re-screw
5) ???

Couldnt you in theory make something that slides into the Switch tablet like a joycon, that then joins the two pins together for you?
