it's a device to boot home brew apps from wii start up such as hbc
if your a wii modder/fixer or just want to run code on your own wii then bootmii = good

if you are nintendo then bootmii= bad

Software....

For those of us with older wiis, it'll replace boot2 and launch before any system menu code does.

For newer wiis - it'll probably end up being more like pre-loader.

Either way - it's software and will give us full control over our wiis before the system menu even starts - making them very robust and giving us lots of homebrew options.
