I completely agree though don't forget that the keys.bin is also extremely useful for recovery purposes too.

yes and no, keys.bin is important, but with the newer versions of bootmii, the data in the keys.bin is appended to the end of the nand.bin. So basically if u have a nand.bin, u will also have the keys.
Oh ok. thats just perfect then.
It's been ages since I've bothered to read the changelog on the bootmii updates.
