Hacking bootmii problems!!! help :(

so yeah my wii got bricked, and i had bootmii installed as bootmii2. but for some reason it never boots the rescue menu, it just boots up saying cbootmii2 and it goes to wad manager. anyone know why? oh and i think the system menu's 4.0

because you have cboot2 files on your sd card and not bootmii files

Edit: Here are the default bootmii files for beta2 set to NTSC

Download that and replace your bootmii folder on your sd card with this one and it will boot to bootmii instead.

EDIT: thanks! it got the rescue menu up and running, now all i have to do is get it working again. i thought it would have something to do with the files, but i didn't know which ones i needed. thanks for the help lexip.

Well what did you do to brick it? I'm assuming you didn't make a nand backup either?

lol no i didn't, but i plan on to once i get it back up and running again. and i don't really remember, i think it was cuz my wii did something weird when i tried to reformat it with a custom system menu on (so stupid of me l0l)

EDIT: so wait, now i have homebrew up and running, but why won't it let me connect my wii remotes when im on the homebrew channel?.
