I mean he is totally wrong (about the free stuff). Where did he found that info?I mean, he's not wrong.

I mean this, you said this program, just find the payload and some sd card files.wtf dude?
Yep. And with this, there is really no point in buying the PRO version.
True, but I'm assuming it will have the fixed sleep mode with it and I only completely shut off my Switch when I REALLY want to conserve battery.but on the go is the real advantage of the dongle.
I am talking about the free licence bullshit.I mean this, you said this program, just find the payload and some sd card files.
Maybe this making it free, idk I have only hopesI am talking about the free licence bullshit.
I won’t be surprised if they made a system that if the copy isn’t legit they brick your consolelol. they DRM the payload to your console. so that you cannot even use it on another one you buy when the first one breaks. I am quite certain all they did in the last weeks is DRM that thing to hell and back to prevent their piracy device from being pirated. we will see how skilled the community is. true blue took quite some time to be cracked.

wait and be surprised, lol! you won't even be able to load it without the license!payload can't be DRMed.

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------
of course not, but it seems most newbies here did not even hear of brickway until now. yes, I know they pretend NOT to be the same party. and it does not even matter. gateway showed that it is possible. and they got away with it. their product was still bought after that scandal!
payload can't be DRMed because it can't be stored. How would you DRM something which can't be tied to HW or SW?wait and be surprised, lol! you won't even be able to load it without the license!

but you started the "DRMed payload" stuff, which is not possible.God, you moron kids....
The payload itself can be sent to the Switch using a generic 'payload loader' app. The stuff that the TX CFW does that people want will not function without either a valid license or a cracked version of the payload.

Oh sorry. that wasnt you.I did no such thing. You are confused.
Oh sorry. that wasnt you.
Problem is that whatever it shoots needs to be .bin, so the file can be obfuscated, but the payload (stuff which it shoots) can't, which means that you can possibly create another payload which would download the current one to SD. (my guess tho)Not that it really matters, but I could argue that it is technologically possible to DRM the payload itself, just not well without investing substantial mental effort. You could have layers of obfuscation - the file you download from TX is encrypted, the dongle decrypts it in memory and shoots it over to the Switch itself. That's obviously not a workable solution; there is hardware that allows the capture of USB traffic, but that would count in the minds of most as 'drming the payload'. Most all DRM is ultimately layers of obfuscation; conditional access is not possible in all scenarios.
It's difficult to do such a thing well. It's a lot easier to do what TX is actually doing. But it's not impossible.

But the dongle shoots .bin. That .bin can't be obfuscated, otherwise, it wouldn't load. So it has to be a clear .bin file.Again: not true. The actual payload you download from TX does not have to be in the clear. It could easily be an encrypted package that gets decrypted by the dongle. There are simple methods to break such a scheme, but implementing one is not impossible.
