Boot Loop?

[SOLVED] I’ve been in the scene for like 2 years now and I haven’t seen anything like this really. I plugged in my switch and it showed the charging screen with the lightning bolt next to a red battery icon. It tries to turn on like it usually does but it goes black and returns to the same charging screen.

edit: thanks for the help in the comments, I just had to let the battery die and plug it in again.

Perhaps you left it in autorcm mode if there no problem with the NAND or hardware.

i have also never used autorcm because it makes me nervous even though i know exactly how it works lol, really hoping this isn’t a hardware issue

Apparently if the battery goes completely flat it can take a lot of charging time to get going again. See if it's working after several hours on charge, if not then look for other solutions.

If I let me switch completely die. It does indeed take several hours to charge. It’s like the battery only lets the usb c trickle charge
