Hello,

I have Mariko console with SX CORE installed. After modchip installation I've made hidden NAND backup on my SD card and tried to get a license, but servers was down for a couple of days. So I updated switch online using OFW (yeah it was stupid, bud I didn't know that), and now I can't boot anything - I'm getting boot.dat? error every time I turn on console. I've tried on 4 different SD cards (exFAT and FAT32) with only boot.dat file on them - when card is inserted error appears after 8 secs. when card is out it's instant. I have green light on modchip when booting.

I've downloaded SX OS 3.1.0 every time to be sure that it's not corrupted,

I've also tried to boot atmosphere using sx gear using youtube guide without luck.

Is there any solution for that? Should I replace modchip firmware with spacecraft and try to boot into atmosphere?

It doesn't support 11.0.1 FW as of yet, you'll need to look for an alternative CFW such as Atmosphere

probably never better jump ship and switch to atmos get the patches i highly doubt their coming back

trust me i felt like i wasted my money on sxos too but it is what it is

To me it sounds more likely that the SD card reader is failing. You could try replacing the SX Core firmware with spaceship but there have been report of bricks while doing this so I'd replace the reader first. You can get them cheap on ebay. I doubt it's the SX Core firmware since once the boot.dat screens shows it means the payload has been executed, it's just unable to load contents of the SD Card. The SX Software doesn't play nicely with some cards but if you were able to boot in to the SX Boot Menu once to create the emunand it should mean that the SD card is fine.

Thanks for your answers. I though the same cause I've read that SD card reader in switch is very poor quality, so I'm already waiting for 2 packages with them from different sellers. Only thing that makes me think about another reason is time to get error between SD card inserted and no card in SD reader.

Man good luck even being able to get sx os licenses. Looks like atmosphere is my new best friend! but yeah in regards to the boot error its the lack of support. Hopefully you can downgrade!
