Hacking Boot 1 problems

My Wii got bricked, and now got it back from Nintendo.

Have managed to install Homebrew, but cant seem to install Bootmii.

Something about boot 1?

You should still be able to install Bootmii/IOS . Just not Bootmii/Boot2

You got a refurbished Wii back from Ninty. Not the same Wii you sent to them. If you get the "your boot1 prevents the install of bootmii to boot2" then forget about it. You will never be able to install bootmii to boot2.

I'm in the same boat. My Wii can't install bootmii to boot2 either. Join the Club

Same thing happened to me. Seriously Nintendo, don't you have an automatic nand flash fixing gizmo in your workshop?
