Any more info on patching this game so it will work on an acekard? I would love to play this game this weekend. Thanks!

Where can I get the ARM7.bin file? I tried the one from the new Nintendo Crossword game but it still didn't work on my AK2i.

I got it to work using the Simcity (J) arm7.bin

I tried this and I get this message, "The Bookworm Save Data Could Not Be Accessed."

At least I got more than a blck screen so I guess this is an improvement. Any other advice?

FOR AK2i USERS:

After doing the ARM7 fix and it still doesn't work, try booting the game to DMA mode (hold X on the Loading screen)

Thanks to KevInChester for the tip.

I got the game to load in AKAIO 1.5.1 doing the ARM7 patch and holding x while loading the game, but....... If I choose any type of multiplayer mode I get 2 black screens but I can still hear the game music

Edit: Redid the arm7 patch, everything works great now...even multiplayer.

Yep - I can confirm this works (I used Sand Of Destruction for the Arm7 fix)... One thing though.

Is there any way to 'force' Bookworm to load in the alternative (original) DMA (Red 'Loading' Text) mode other than wait until a new AKAIO loader comes out ??
- I keep forgetting to hold [X] when loading

I'm guessing it's the 'loader' that decides on how to load ROMS as my 'Animal Crossing:Wild World' loads using the normal DMA mode with LOADING... while all other games use the 'DMA-Quicksave' mode with 'LOADING...'

is it really that hard to patch for R4?
if i understand it right once it would get fixed to DSTT
than YSMENU could be fixed as well
(if that guy still updates it at all that is?)

If it's so easy, then do it yourself. I have a R4 and I'm not complaining. I can wait. Or you can just buy the game off the PopCap website for $20 and get Bookworm for the PC for free as part of your purchase.

And yeah, DSTT fix = R4 fix. I thought they still updated, they're just not as fast as other teams.
