anything about the acekard2i with AKAIO 1.51 yet? looking everywhere for a fix and still nothing...guess this isn't a top priority for Xenophobia.

Last time I checked, problems the game has aren't because of AP but because of a different save type (something that Xenophobia can't do anything about). It requires a firmware update, I thought.

Just found this on another board, can't name it as it has roms:

I was able to get this ROM working on my AceKard 2. Here's a high-level overview of what I did:

1. Update AKAIO loader to v1.5
2. Perform an Arm7 swap on Bookworm ROM using dsbuff.exe
3. Copy patched ROM to card.
4. When launching patched Bookworm ROM, keep 'X' button depressed until game has loaded.

Have not thoroughly tested, but game does load, and appears to play and save ok.

Credit/blame goes to a user named BaroqueBob.

looks like that is the end for R4 support since no new YSMENU versions
and quite some games in the R4 compat wiki which wont run anymore ;(

You mean no new DSTT versions? YSMenu is only as good as the DSTT loaders that it uses.

where exactly can i get another arm7 file to swap in?

i have looked on google and youtube at different tutorials, but i cannot find an arm7 file to switch in and i am a little worried about just randomly dl'ing an arm7 file from rapidshare or megaupload.

I may have to go to rehab. I got to work early on Monday and sat in the car and played Bookworm. I did the Action mode, which before that I'd usually only last 10-20 minutes before I burn the library down. I went well over an hour. I wasn't early anymore.
