I've made a forwarder channel for the new bluemsx-wii emulator.
BlueMSX is the best emulator for PC (and now also for the Wii) I've seen so far. A special goodie is in the download section on its web site: almost every roms ready to be saved on sd....(!!)

Download Forwarder Channel with old Snake from MGS4 (first try)-> here
    The title is id: MSXW
    The forwarder points to sd://apps/bluemsx-wii/boot.dol

Download Forwarder Channel with Simon from Vampire Killer (and sound from lv. 1-1) -> here
    The title is id: MSXW
    The forwarder points to sd://apps/bluemsx-wii/boot.dol

Download Forwarder Channel with Solid Snake from Metal Gear (MSX Version, and sound from lv. 1) -> here
Download Forwarder Channel with Solid Snake from Metal Gear (MSX Version, without sound) -> here
    The title is id: MSXW
    The forwarder points to sd://apps/bluemsx-wii/boot.dol

    CREDITS:
I've used the WAD-Manager Forwarder Channel from TroyTheZombie as base, so special thanks to him.
It took me a long time to find a dol loader, that can start this huge .dol. Finally i took the DOL Forwarder Creator from Mr. Shizzy. Also many thanks for it!

    HAVE FUN !

It's nice, but wouldn't it be better if it was old-skool Snake and Metal Gear music rather than MGS4 Snake and Castlevania music?

Yes, it would, but I haven't found a suitable image for Metal Gear, Metal Gear2, Castlevania or Vampire Killer (all low-res scans).
    Maybe I'll give another try...

OK, i did it [IMG] Find it in the 1st post!

Edit: It's a pretty cool emu and works very well. The XML config is really a pain in the ass, but you can find a full romset with config files on its homepage (link is also in the 1st post).

Yeah, it's a strange way to set it up, but it works quite nicely.

Thanks a lot for the classic Snake edition [IMG]

Awesome forwarder supagusti. Is there any chance you could make a Solid Snake from Metal Gear (MSX Version) without sound?

Why not switching to Windows 7 x64 and use XP Mode ...?
It's a better choice than Vista, I think.

    Anyway - Have fun !

I'll change as soon as it's officially released. I never run RC's or betas. :-)

I do, but it's installed on a 2nd partition of my hdd. So I don't have to touch my original XP :-)
It's just for testing purposes. I also decided NOT to use vista using this way...
But in future i will have to use W7, cause my useable mem is running out with 32bit.

i think you should remove those multiple msx logo all around the main logo, this looks ugly imo

the castlevania one is the best one v10 but the icon needs refining. compared to other forwarder channels it looks a bit pixelated, and the grey background is very bare, it needs something extra. + consider a few more animations
