How do I update OTPhelper? I have the .zip of v.90 but I don't know where to put the files from the zip. You know, besides where the old ones were (but I didn't see them all, the hardmodder put the files there I think)
Section I - Preparatory work

6. Copy arm11.bin and arm9.bin from the SafeA9LHInstaller zip to the root of your SD card

All right, so I got near the end, flashed my old nand to it to get my games back, but now FBI isn't injected into health and safety. This is all very confusing and I'm very tired. I might pick this up tomorrow. This is not at all worth it to me.

You did not follow the guide and use the latest files it tells you to download that's why. Just go to sleep and try to follow the guide as is tomorrow.

All right, I have to do the full install from the OTPhelper, but that's not an option. What do I do now?
You don't have the right files as per the guide. You need arm11.bin and arm9.bin from safeA9LHinstaller, not from OTPHelper. Replace those with the correct ones and then you will have the full install option. The guide very specifically states to get arm11.bin and arm9.bin from safeA9LHinstaller, but you put the files from OTPHelper instead. safeA9LHinstaller will dump the OTP for you and install A9LH in one go.
It's not hard, you just aren't reading the guide properly (based on your replies you are tired and should probably sleep before trying to do this)

You're both right. I think it was a matter of flashing the nand with the games after a9lh was installed, not beforehand. So I messed up there. Now I'm not sure sure where to start, though. I'm not even sure if I'm on CFW, and I can't get into CFW via the homebrew launcher, or much of anything else. Black screen. (Might be because it can't boot up at that firmware, or maybe because I already removed rednand, I'm not sure)

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

Nevermind guys, just had to hold x on boot to inject FBI again. Thank you all for your patience in my very tired and stressed noobness.

Glad you could get that resolved! Welcome to the A9LH master race!
