I bought a PS4 yesterday and the guy told me it doesn't always start up first time.
I have tested and sure enough it sometimes takes a couple of attempts to fire up, when it doesn't I get the pulsing blue light which I believe to be BLOD but if I shut it down then start up again it will usually come on with no major issues.
Is this the start of the BLOD or something else?
I'm stripping it down tomorrow anyway as the fans desperately need cleaning (sounds like a helicopter taking off!!!) I will replace the thermal paste at the same time but does this usually solve this type of issue or do I need to dig out the heat gun?
