We are excited to announce that BlindType has been acquired by Google!

We want to thank everyone for their overwhelming support and positive feedback.
We know that typing on your mobile device can be a frustrating experience, which is why
we've worked hard to make touch typing easier and faster than ever - the way it should be.

We're excited to join Google, and look forward to the great opportunities for mobile innovation that lie ahead.

It's been a while since this was posted, but I just looked now.

That's a pretty good development, and reminds me a little bit of Swype, though they aren't exactly greatly similar, just the way that they both predict what the word is if you aren't very accurate, but in terms of that alone, this does a great job of it.

I like the way the keyboard shifted in that second video.

Looking at the videos, it seems to record the approximate location of each press and uses those to see which keys are close, and adding all of those together it seems to extrapolate the most likely word.

As I expected, it's not on the Market yet. It might be either still in development or not scheduled for release yet.
