WiiVC titles installed to the Wii U menu seem to not be working for me. I downloaded a handful, including Mario Galaxy and Pikmin, via the WiiUDownloader and installed them thru Nusspli onto my Crucial 1TB external SSD (Wii WBFS games loaded thru USB Loader GX and typical Wii U games work completely fine). Every time I try to load them, I get to the vWii logo before both my TV and Gamepad screen just go completely black. I'm not entirely sure what the issue is. Any help is appreciated!

Should be. When I downloaded all of them, I only had the USA region checked in WiiUDownloader.

I was able to go back and confirm that, yes, they are USA region. Also tried reinstalling them but no change.

Having the same issue here, although this time I have a Japanese Wii U and I installed USA Wii VC games (Pikmin 2 and Mario Galaxy),
I'd also assume its a region issue, but it's more likely a semi-brick with the virtual Wii (which makes zero sense to me)
The best thing to do I believe would be to use the vWii Decaffeinator software
This will reinstall all crucial stuff of the vWii without needed a NAND Backup, which should fix whatever the hell's happening on your end.

That being said, I really don't know why modding the vWii causes a "semi-brick"...

EDIT: I tested a Japanese Wii VC game and it worked fine, which means my cIOS is fine.
It's just USA and PAL games that don't work.
I can't say for sure what's going on for you now...

Yep, went through and used Decaffeinator and the Wii U version of Galaxy still doesn't boot. It seems like no one else with this same issue has a solution, either.

The only solution I have is booting them through a USB loader, then everything works.

When in Wii mode some games work, some don't. Like pce games work, but megadrive doesn't.

Aw, man, I was hoping that wouldn't be the case. I guess I'll just play them like regular Wii games then.
