Hacking Black screen when loading NTR/TWL Cartridges

Hey everyone,

I'm having some trouble with trying to play any of my old cartridges (namely wanting to play pokemon heartgold). Whenever I try to load a cartridge, it recognises the game, I try to load it and I'm met with a black screen, which I then have to press a button to get past, the console restarts and I am put back to my home menu.

I know that these cartridges restart the console to load, I am currently on Luma3SD 8.1.1 and 11.5.0-38E firmware. I have tried installing the clean TWL as mentioned here (https://github.com/AuroraWright/Luma3DS/wiki/FAQ-and-troubleshooting), I've also tried BootCtr (No luck), TWLoader (same happens with black screen).

I'm at a loss, as I have tried my partners stock 3ds and the cartridge works, 3DS cartridges work, or have I completely missed something?

Omg, that actually worked! Thank you so much, the New_3DS TWL_FIRM - v9936.cia worked, whilst the rest wouldn't installed. But that was enough to get them working! YAY!

They probably didn't install because they were already the same version.
