Help, this is driving me crazy.
I installed d2x v10 on slot 249, base 56.

I'm using a USB 3.0 WD my passport 1TB drive, formatted in Fat32 with 64kb cluster size.

I'm pretty sure the hard drive is the problem but I really don't want to buy another HDD.

Any solutions?

Not all games like to be forced into a different tv format resulting in said blackscreen
Uh... So do I have to match the region of my game with the console? Mine's a Korean Wii which doesn't have many games released, and that's why I'm trying to use a loader in the first place.

Hello,

did you format with this utility with fat 32 ==>http://www.ridgecrop.demon.co.uk/index.htm?guiformat.htm

and then use "" wii backup manager "" to manage the games ==>http://www.wiibackupmanager.co.uk/downloads.html

A simple copy and paste of your games on the external hard drive may not work

No, instead I used AOMEI Partition Assist Standard to format my drive. I'm going to try to format it again using the link you gave me, but I'm struggling to find a download link. It'd be appreciated if you linked me one.

And yes, I'm using the wii backup manager to put my games into my drive

The games do show up in the loader. The black screen appears when I'm trying to actually play the game.

(Sorry for the double posting whoops)

Found and used the program you told me to use to format my HDD to Fat32. It still appears black when loading games.

Btw I checked if it worked, it still doesn't unfortunately

(Another double posting, oh well)

Installed Wiiflow 5.4.0. Same issue with GX, I can access the menu but when I try to load a game, a black screen appears.

My HDD has USB 3.0, do I need different settings for it?
