There's a reason the "Disappointing Last Level" page on TV Tropes used to be called "Xen Syndrome".

One would hope the developers would take some artistic privilege (my brain is blanking on the exact term) and make the last part of the game not so shit. Maybe that's why they're leaving it out for now while everything else is probably a straightforward remake.

You're right, they plan on expanding and improving Xen. I can't remember the source I read, but they flat out stated it. I'll try to find a link.

I downloaded the whole thing a little over an hour ago through torrents, and it seems to have made it to some private torrent trackers making it much easier to get good download speeds.

I really like it. On the one hand, I'm still kinda surprised at how nice some of the effects and textures are... and then how some are xbox gen-1 quality >_> But really, fantastic work, this mod.
