Hardware Big Screen Mod Kit

I would love a big screen replacement mod, that replaces the case, screen and digitiser to about 10.5 inch screen.

An iPad pro oled replacement goes for about $100. That would be a great price point for a Switch one.

Has any one done anything similar on other consoles?

I imagine battery power draw wou;d be an issue

Unfortunately such mod is not possible.

Not even to mention you would need to find a display with the same or similar connector(making an adapter for ribbon cables is not worth it)

I presume every switch is hardcoded to search for the display with specific quality such as voltage draw coded into ic chip.
You could use a circuit board which would connect the new display to switch via modified (adapter) flex cable and hope the new display would be read by switch in terms of resolution voltage used etc.

A 720p 10.5 inch screen probably wouldn't look great, no?

Edit: also Switch supports only 5 LCD models. Won't work with others
