In tri-Ace's 3DS dungeon RPG Beyond the Labyrinth, you'll get to create your very own costumes for the heroine character who serves as the face for the game. 4Gamer shared a few screenshots of the process today as part of an interview with director Takayuki Suguro and art director Kentaro Kagami

The costume creation tool was created from scratch, explained Kagami. Suguro joked that they knew players would want the ability to change the characters' costumes, but because creating costumes would be a lot of work for the designers, they decided to let the players create the costumes for themselves.As you can see in the screenshots, the scribbles that you make on the lower screen are reflected in real time on the girl's clothing in the top screen. You can also change other areas of the girl, including hair color. Your edits can be saved to SD in JPEG format.It looks like costume editing will be the only change you can bring to the girl. The game does not have any love components where the girl's behavior will change based off your actions.

Thoughts like 'this looks too cool for NA' come to mind. It looks like it could be the definitive rpg fort he 3DS.

So is there a set release date for JP yet? If so.. I wonder if it will be translated, and when it'll come out in NA and EU.. PLZ KONAMI ;_;

From what I've read (So I could be wrong)
You don't play as a girl, she's your guide, partner, whatever.
The game is first-person so that's why you don't see the main character.

Oh, so you mean it's like those games where the player is has impact on the game, without having a main character per se?
Kinda like Fire Emblem's Tactician and Knights in the Nightmare?
exactly..... the game is in first person view, and I havent seen any image of the main protagonist, so I assumed that
but Im not sure... since I saw a couple of text dialog between the girl and the main character. I dont know if it's just the girl talking to you or the main protagonist talks to back to her

Well, if that's really the case then I'll def get the game if it's localised.

be careful... maybe you play the whole game and at the end it's revealed that you have been playing like another girl the whole time :lol:
btw, why the double quote?

Oh, it was prolly a lag, sorry about that.
Well, I'm pretty sure google will have answers for that once the game is out.
