Finally another update from HtheB but once again it seems like he's stalling. He's made a website specifically for Beup Live hosted by the French Supercard team. It all seems quite unnecessary to me.

I cant wait for this. I just chatted with HtheB, he shown me his proof of concept. Its damn nice from what Ive seen.

He also told me the est. time for his release is next week.

I can't do better, but I also don't a) Claim that I can, or b) Submit other people's work to homebrew competitions.

Well, if you cant do better then him and that's the extent of this programing then you shouldn't say that thats the best he can do. He's homebrew was one of the best cause it was MSN ON THE DS probability + msn =

I Belive he can do it if an ipod touch has 100 apps for msn and the ds should have one! it shows possible even know the hardware differences

You're missing the point. KevinC made Beup. Not htheb. All htheb did was update it so it would work once Microsoft changed its settings slightly. He then submitted it into a homebrew competition as his own entry without mentioning kevinC at all. Again, he did not make the program; he's only changed the IP settings and recompiled each time Microsoft changed stuff.

Okay, nice Flash video but still no screenshots of the real thing.
But I trust SoulAnger, and if he said he has something working, then I guess it could be real this time.

I just hope that he showed him some real code, and not just some Photoshop mockup

Did you actually read his post, or like skim some words and go "Huh, what's this guy talking about? I dunno, I'd better ask." What do you do in real-life situations where you're talking with more than one person? How do you handle conversations without having some grasp on context?

I also told me teacher, after coding css files by hand 'real men use notepad'
The face was priceless

Anyway, if the code was available (maybe it is?) or some sort of modular system that can replace the server auth'ing for when it breaks
Would be awesome

Looks like this guy teamed up with Team Supercard to bring beup live back from the dead again... It seems like a new trend with talented coders:

Moonlight- m3 Team (that didn't end well)

Soulanger- Most likely Team AceKard (*he mentions its a cheap but powerful card in his discussion)

Hey now, I do that all the time.
Then again, I use something just a bit better than Notepad (called Textpad).

Notepad++ also comes fairly highly recommended.
