Homebrew Better Video Quality

When the DSi gets hacked, would it's new Sys Specs allow us to watch videos in a better quality?
If so, how much better?

I still think not, both systems are still only able to view the same amount of colors.

the default bitrate dpgtools uses is horrible.
i think if we could up that a bit, your subbed anime/tv show/opera/music videos would be HEAPS easier to see...

Why do people use dpgtools? We have access to WAYYYYY better things. Super! is one of them. BatchDPG is another. Both are awesome (With a preference to Super!). Why can't we just eliminate dpgtools forever?

I like DPGtools for MHS 2.0 better than BatchDPG.

I use Xilisoft DPG converter. It's a great program, but I noticed that my audio got a bit out of sync. I converted RMVB videos to DPG using everything high, which probably caused the audio to be out of sync.

I use Xilisoft as well. (Just a tip - ImToo DPG converter is exactly the same program as they are the same company). Although onto the initial question: Yes it would. It won't help with the resolution but it can certainly help with the frame rate, syncing issues and improve players ability to skip, load and so on...
