It really depends.

No$Gba doesn't emulate perfectly, but slower computers run it fine.
Desmume emulates pretty close to an actual DS and can do Wifi, but you need a pretty good computer to run it well.

Since i have a terrible computer, i have to say that my choice is No$gba

I use DeSmuME myself as I can do lots with it (Including AVI recording) but if you have an old computer, stick with No$GBA.

As well, @[member='KazoWAR'], I've seen you take videos of homebrew that require FAT to run properly on DeSmuME. How do you manage that?

on my mind i just pick Desmume. because is pretty stable than no$gba+no$zoomer, because no$zoomer is slow on my new machine than my old one.... is need resetting but is still same result.

desmume is pretty close to DS so is more slower and need more higher than no$gba, that reason why desmume is slower than no$gba...

i just using desmume for checking purpose, and AVI recording only. i just using my ds to play a games.

Emulation -> GBA slot -> MPCF Flash Card Device. I personally use the folder option and have it setup as if it was the root of the SD card,

Hm. Well, got that set up, now I need to find an acekard NDS file to run the firmware. Can't seem to find it anymore. Gaaaaah.

I know I had a copy once upon a time. Must have deleted it a long time ago.

No. just open the nds file for the hombrew. Desmume will auto dldi patch it in ram to work with the MPCF. just have the folder you used have all the files needed for it to run. if it uses nitroFS then have the nds file in the MPCF folder.

I tried desmume while my flashcart was being 'fixed' (I'd messed it up with the 3DS and didn't own a DS anymore) and I can say it's pretty good, seeing as it run most games without issues.
