For anyone online that can help me, I have put the starter kit, soundhax, and otherapp onto the root of my sd card, booted it up, and when i play "<3 nedwill 2016" it eventually says "the homemenu ropbin is ready" but then immediately goes back to the home menu with a message that says "an error has occurred. please save your data in any software currently in use, and then restart the system".

I'm guessing it's because I have files still on the card for running freakyhax? Can someone tell me what files to delete and which ones to keep?

Just delete the whole folder and paste the files again

Nonono if you're gonna follow my advice then just delete the 3DS folder, not the whole SD card

If i delete the 3ds folder, itll just be replaced with the 3ds folder included in the starter kit (which i had done already)
unless you mean delete the "nintendo 3ds folder" and not the "3ds" folder?

Just delete the freakyhax thing since after installing CFW you're most likely not going to use it anymore
Whatever you do DO NOT DELETE THE NINTENDO 3DS FOLDER

You are on a old 3ds correct? Your soundhax file is for the old 3ds so it should match the type of 3ds you are using.Other then that I see nothing else wrong,you have the boot.3dsx file on the root and the 3ds folder aswell.
