Find 'clirc' on FileTrip.net
Use that program along with the bitlbee servers to access instant messenger chats, since last I checked all the dedicated chat programs for the DS stopped connecting to the MSn servers.

Pretty much all the web browsers suck. DSi browser's the best legitly, Bunjallo's probably my favorite homebrew.
