Hacking best solution for NDS+GBA and Real Time Clock?

Im want to be able to play both NDS and GBA games on my DS and have real time clock (RTC) support for pokemon games on both NDS and GBA. What do I need to get to make this happen?

It seems M3 and G6 are the way to go but I am worried about compatibility.

Should I still get an R4 for NDS games?

R4DS for DS games and a G6 lite for the gba games, you can also use the G6 lite as a RAM expansion with a additional patch with the opera web browser, and use the G6 lite to play gba and DS homebrew, yes the G6 lite has RTC function so you are ok there.

which you will have to buy separately, 512MB is more than enough for gba roms, thats why i choose it.

M3 Lite and G6 have the same compatibility. The only bad thing about the ez5 Is it can only hold 1 GBA game, thata why I wouldn't recomend it.

One more question. If I choose M3 lite, can I use the same microSD card for both R4 and M3? Or will I need to buy 2 of them

Yeah the EZV does not have RTC. You will need 2 micro sd cards, you can find them at newegg.com. There very cheap there, a 1 GB micro sd is only 10 dollars.

the reason you need an m3simply/r4ds when you pair them up with the slot 2 devices is for both the nds game play and for there passme abilitys.

there both pretty good for nds games but most people use the r4ds for nds games and there slot two device for gba/homebrew. if your just thinking your going to get the m3 lite you'll need a passme card like this... http://www.gameyeeeah.com/m3-perfect-passcard-c-21_43.html
if you get an r4ds with the m3lite it has the passme card built into it.

The only thing which EZ4 beats M3Lite in is GBA playback. Pretty much everything else (other than NDSplayback) is similar. I stand by my previous statement. I think I read about this in the reviews or a friend told me. You could be right though

The M3Lite PERFECT is, so far, the best solo-solution for all your needs. It uses microSD cards? Heck yeah, definately not a bad thing. The only down side I can think of off hand is the loading time for GBA games.

One thing about it is that its a slot-2 solution. If you can get a pass device or borrow one to flash your DS then you'll have the greatest thing to happen to the DS since the lite redesign.
