Adjusting the pot on my wii failed, so I need a new laser.
Where can I get one for cheap? Preferably a reliable site.
And are there any specialy made lasers floating around that are designed to last longer/ have the durability of compy lasers?
And If I need soldering stuff where can I get a cheap kit for that? (Quick delivery too, like one week?)
My wii is a d2a launch wii.

Thanks,
shadowboy.

For the lens, check out divineo.com. For the solder stuff, Radio Shack or some other local electronics store. I wouldn't go over a 15-watt iron tho. Try and get a temperature regulated one, they work so much better than some $10 soldering iron.

Thanks.
Any other sites than divineo tho? I've had problems with them in the past.

And what all would I need to buy to solder the new lens in? Just the iron and some soldering metal? What kind of soldering metal would work best?

Thanks again,
Shad~

Do you live where they have Radio Shacks? Get their $5 solder, some kind of silver shit. That stuff's the best, .015 diameter. As far as lenses, I don't know, I'd google them. Just don't order from any site that looks shitty or anything.

yeah, lead/tin solder with rosin core, get the thinnest they have. the lead is very unfriendly to the environment...and probably bad if you eat it...but it works the best
